MONI Terms of Service
Last updated: June 21, 2026
Service
MONI provides tools for volleyball players, captains, and hosts to discover tournaments and leagues, create teams, manage rosters, join free-agent lists, send and receive invitations, register for events, process payments, receive event updates, and access game-day information. By using MONI, you agree to these Terms of Service.
Accounts and eligibility
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for activity under your account. MONI may require sign-in through Apple, Google, or another supported authentication method. You may not use another person's account, impersonate another person, or submit false registration, profile, payment, or host information.
MONI is not directed to children under 13 and is not part of the Kids category. If you are under the age of majority in your location, you may use MONI only with permission from a parent or legal guardian and only if the applicable tournament, league, host, venue, and law allow your participation.
Event registration
Registration fees are charged in CAD and cover participation in in-person volleyball tournaments, leagues, or related event services. A registration is confirmed only after payment has been completed, manually verified, or otherwise approved by MONI or the event host.
Payments in MONI are for real-world event participation, not digital goods, subscriptions, premium app content, or app-unlocked features. Event availability, team capacity, roster requirements, eligibility rules, schedules, divisions, venue rules, cancellation terms, and refund terms may vary by event.
Payments, refunds, and cancellations
MONI may use third-party payment providers, including Stripe and Paysafe/Interac, to process payments and refunds. MONI does not store full card numbers or bank credentials. Payment providers may apply their own terms, privacy policies, security checks, fees, or processing timelines.
Refund and cancellation terms are shown during registration or attached to the applicable event. If a host cancels an event, eligible registration fees are refunded to the original payment method where possible. Player or team cancellation requests are reviewed according to the policy, deadline, and operational status of the event. Processing fees may be non-refundable if disclosed before checkout or required by a payment provider.
Host responsibility
Tournament hosts are responsible for accurate event details, pricing, capacity, venue information, schedules, rules, eligibility requirements, refund terms, safety requirements, communications, and on-site operations. MONI may review hosts before allowing them to publish events, and may remove or restrict host access if event information is inaccurate, unsafe, misleading, unlawful, or harmful to users.
User content and content rights
Users and hosts may upload or submit profile photos, tournament flyers, team names, schedules, brackets, rules, announcements, support messages, reports, and other content. You are responsible for the content you submit and must have the rights, permissions, and licenses needed to submit it and allow MONI to display, store, process, and share it for app and event operations.
You may not submit content that is unlawful, misleading, infringing, abusive, harassing, discriminatory, sexually explicit, exploitative, spam, malware, or otherwise harmful. MONI may remove content, restrict accounts, suspend hosts, ban users, or take other action to protect the service and community.
Reports, moderation, and safety
MONI may provide tools to report users, teams, tournaments, hosts, or content. Reports may be reviewed by MONI admins or support staff. MONI may hide content, limit visibility, restrict invitations, remove users from parts of the service, suspend accounts, preserve records for investigation, or contact affected users or authorities where appropriate.
MONI helps organize sports event information, but tournament hosts and venues are responsible for their own events, physical spaces, rules, safety decisions, and on-site conduct. You are responsible for deciding whether an event is appropriate for you and for following host, venue, league, and local rules.
Acceptable use
You may not misuse MONI, submit false information, harass other users, interfere with event operations, attempt unauthorized access, bypass payment or registration controls, scrape or copy the service, upload malicious code, use MONI for unlawful activity, or use MONI in a way that harms users, hosts, venues, payment providers, or the service.
Account deletion and privacy
Account deletion is available in the MONI app from Profile > Account > Delete Account. Deletion removes your MONI sign-in, anonymizes your player profile, expires pending invitations, removes personal profile details where possible, and signs you out. Some records may be retained for legal, financial, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, refund, chargeback, tournament-history, or dispute-resolution purposes.
MONI's Privacy Policy explains what information is collected, how it is used, how it may be shared, and how to contact MONI about privacy choices.
Service changes and availability
MONI may update, suspend, limit, or discontinue parts of the service at any time. MONI may also update these terms as the app, payment flows, legal requirements, or App Store requirements change. Continued use of MONI after changes means you accept the updated terms.
Disclaimers and limitation
MONI is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent allowed by law, MONI is not responsible for host cancellations, venue changes, schedule changes, participant conduct, injuries, lost property, payment provider outages, network issues, or events outside MONI's reasonable control.
